The Scarlet Cord...

Hi guys and happy New Year to you. As we've left the glitter and noise of the holidays, lets focus on our future plans a head- or rather, lets look at things squarely now.
Rahab of Jericho did. What choice did she have? Before her was the promise of death for all her land, no future, no hope.
But.
She made a choice.
A quick one.
A faithful one.
One she'd never made.
Ever.
To save her family- herself... from a life of lack.
Years as a harlot. No love. No children.
Favours? Benefits? Empty.
But.
Rahab had paid keen attention to the talk, the whispers...
The Jewish slaves, from Egypt...
Freed.
Faced with the impossible...
The Red Sea.
She believed it. Really believed it.
The promise of life- a real life- with the God of the Red Sea; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Like an open Hand, an Invitation... an honourable one.
Rahab took it.
It changed her life forever... She later married one of the spies- Salmon.
The baby they had, was Boaz... If you know the Book of Ruth, then you know the rest!
(Joshua 2: 1-21)
Take God's Open Hand this year, and every year of your life...
Blessings in Jesus' name🙏
