Humble Centurion

Greetings friends

How many of you have heard of the faith of the Centurion, found in the Gospels of the Bible (Matthew 8:5-13/Luke 7:1)?

This dignified Centurion, whose rank gave him authority over 80-100 soldiers and a houseful of servants, understood the weight of a spoken word-a command, and understood that those under him, were at his command. I love the humbleness of this Centurion when stood before the Son of God Almighty- he knew that there before him, was One higher, greater than him; God Himself (John 10:30), whose spoken Word, carried more weight than anything ever made!

The Centurion didn't see himself worthy enough for Jesus Christ-Yeshua Messiah to enter his house, put his hands on his dying servant and miraculously heal him. He knew that the spoken Word was enough!!

And Jesus marvelled at this man's faith in Him!!
