Go Slow, Hold Steady

Greetings friends

I'll make this brief. The other day I was bike riding in the park, it was raining and I was riding quite fast... in short, my foot slipped on the wet pedal, causing my lower calf to graze the pedal- ouch! Yes, there was blood, a lot of it, not that I noticed at first because I was too busy fussing about slowing down and losing momentum. Still, when I lowered my sock and saw the ugly injury tattooed across my skin, I realised my irresponsibility; I should have worn leg protection, been mindful of the damp weather conditions and, because of the weather, should have slowed down... made sure I had proper grip on the pedals, you know?

This piece of Scripture comes to mind- it doesn't hurt to take things slow guys, so you can be steady.

Less haste, more speed, right?

Take care ‼️

Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.

Proverbs 4:26 ESV
